For the first time, HR and transportation admins can overlay data from their commuter benefits program with information from Transit App and Walk Score.

Starting today, all Jawnt organization admins have access to Jawnt Maps – an innovative new way to measure and improve your organization’s commuter benefits program.

A national view of Jawnt Maps

Jawnt Maps brings together three previously unconnected data sources to offer enterprises with unparalleled insights about their commuter program through a first-of-its-kind tool:

  1. Commuter benefit enrollment data – Whether it’s the local transit system or bikeshare, Jawnt knows which benefits are being used and by which employees.
  2. Organization locations – Jawnt Maps visualizes commuting patterns across all types of organizations – from a campus with employees across dozens of buildings to a national franchise with hundreds of locations.
  3. Transportation infrastructure – From public bus and rail lines to your organization’s own parking garages and shuttles, Jawnt Maps illustrates how nearby transportation systems can better serve your team.

To do this, we partnered with two industry leaders for high-quality and reliable data: Transit App and Walk Score.

  • Transit App provides information about transit stops that are nearest to each of your organization’s locations.
  • Walk Score, most famous for their walking score algorithm, calculates Transit Scores for each address to quantify the transit usefulness of a given location. We surface all of this data in real-time on Jawnt Maps.

When all of this information is brought together in Jawnt Maps, you get a comprehensive view of the commuter and transportation needs at your organization. As an organization admin, you’ll have more tooling available to maximize enrollment in your commuter benefits program. Here are some examples of how admins are using Jawnt Maps within their organization today:

  1. Finding locations where enrollment is lower than expected – In just a few taps, admins can see which locations have the highest and lowest program enrollment. Zoom into locations that have lower enrollment to understand if the issue is a lack of transit availability, a lack of educational resources, or something else.
  2. ‍Creating resources to promote benefits – Often employees need just a little education about what transportation options are available to them to change their behavior. Admins are using data in Jawnt Maps to create location-specific print and digital marketing material to encourage more employees to shift to sustainable transportation.‍
  3. Identifying needs to create a richer transportation network – When tasked with planning shuttle service routes, building a new parking garage, or providing feedback to the local transit agency, commuter data is critical to doing this effectively. With Jawnt Maps, admins can make data-driven decisions and tell a visual story around the impact of change.

We are thrilled to be the first commuter benefit platform to provide this level of insight into an organization’s transportation and commuter program. One of our core beliefs at Jawnt is that everyone deserves access to sustainable transportation and, because of this, Jawnt Maps is available to all organization admins at no additional cost.

Not using Jawnt for your organization's commuter benefits? You can still make use of many of Jawnt Maps’ features now. Let's start telling your organization's commuter story together and get your employees moving.
