How do you get around where you live?
After just moving to DC, I'm mostly walking around my current area. Occasionally I will drive to places- but it's only been a few weeks! Excited to try out the Amtrak's to nearby areas.

How long have you been working for Jawnt?
Just under a year (8 months)

How would you describe what your role is at Jawnt?
Building a scalable, secure engineering environment where engineers can confidently solve challenging problems and perform some of their best work!

What is your favorite thing to help Jawnt customers with?
Solving pain points, especially for complicated use cases.

What do you hope to see in the future of transit & commuting?
More open loop transit and innovation in payments. With a massive push in the technology sector towards simplifying banking through platforms (banking as a service, payments as a service, etc), we’re seeing a ton of innovation in the fintech space. Being able to bring some of that to the transit industry is exciting!

What did you want to be when you grew up?
Trash collector- I would sit at the window and wave at them every Tuesday.

Where's your next vacation?
More immediately- Florida to visit home this Summer, but in the fall likely Turkey to visit some of my family or Japan to visit some of my partner's family
