Transforming Transportation
March 19-20, 2024 
Washington, DC

Founded in 2003 and co-hosted by the World Bank and WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities, Transforming Transportation is the largest conference of its kind dedicated to fostering transport solutions in developing countries that address both climate and development goals. The global forum is a platform for innovators and leaders helping to transform the sector, from policymakers and CEOs to researchers and advocates. Across two days of technical sessions and plenaries, more than 150 speakers join thousands of participants in Washington, D.C., and online to accelerate innovation and create new partnerships. The conference covers key topics of concern for both climate change and sustainable development, including public transportation, electric mobility, walking and cycling, road safety, and increasing access to jobs, education and health care. Key themes have included recovery from COVID-19, financing the climate transition and the emergence of new mobility services.

Transportation Camp - Philadelphia

TransportationCamp is a series of decentralized unconferences held throughout the world, where people of all backgrounds meet to discuss transportation-related topics. Each one is organized independently by their own local organizing committee, and may be held in conjunction with a larger conference or event. Attendees include students, young and experienced professionals, and community leaders from a wide range of backgrounds—including transportation planning, technology, innovation, and policy.

Bicycle Leadership Conference
March 26 - 29th, 2024
Tucson, Arizona

ACT West Coast Regional TDM Summit - Association for Commuter Transportation 
April 3 - April 4th, 2024
San Francisco, CA

In April, ACT’s Northern California Chapter will welcome attendees to South San Francisco for 1.5 days of panels, interactive discussions, networking, and tours. Hosted at Genentech’s South San Francisco campus, this event will highlight TDM strategies in action at a leading employer. Attendees will receive an inside look at TDM programs and initiatives in the region and learn how they’ve evolved to meet commuter needs. The summit is positioned to draw TDM leaders and innovators representing programs from the Bay area and beyond.

APTA Legislative Conference
April 7 - 9th, 2024

The Legislative Conference is an opportunity for public transportation industry professionals across the nation to make our presence felt and our voices heard in Washington, DC. The Conference helps educate APTA members on important federal legislation and policy initiatives and affords an unparalleled opportunity to shape the industry’s positions and federal advocacy agenda.

CALACT 2024 Spring Conference and Expo
April 15 - 18, 2024
San Diego, CA

CALACT is a statewide, non-profit organization that has represented the interests of small, rural, and specialized transportation providers since 1984. Our membership is comprised of individuals and agencies from diverse facets of transportation, including operators of small and large systems, planning and government agencies, social service agencies, suppliers and consultants. The conference committee has prepared many informative educational sessions for attendees at the conference. Be sure to visit the buses and exhibitors during the Expo reception on Tuesday evening and the Bus Show Luncheon and EXPO on Wednesday. The CALACT Board of Directors and Staff hope that you have an enjoyable conference experience. 

APTA Mobility Conference

The Mobility Conference addresses the critical priorities and challenges facing bus and paratransit systems and explores the changing environment in which systems operate in today's mobility landscape. NACTO Designing Cities 2024: Miami-Dade
May 7 - 10, 2024
Miami Dade, FL

The NACTO Designing Cities Conference brings together 1,000 officials, planners, and practitioners to advance the state of transportation in cities across North America. The 2024 event will be NACTO’s twelfth conference, and the first held in the Southeast U.S. The NACTO conference features a mix of formats over four days that promote connection, inspiration, and sharing best practices and lessons learned. The agenda features workshops with hands-on exercises, roundtable discussions, keynote speakers, seamless networking opportunities, panel conversations, and small group meet ups by affinity or topic expertise. Our conference is best known for our Walkshops - mobile tours of our host city and region that are designed and led by local staff and community members. Three Walkshops are included in the price of each conference ticket for every attendee. Our program also features our beloved Meet the Cities event, where every NACTO member agency has the chance to share a project they worked on that year.

Government Fleet's Public Transit Conference

New for this year, Public Transit Conference educational sessions are being offered at the 2024 Government Fleet Expo & Conference (GFX), which is the largest annual conference for public fleets in the nation. The sessions will feature leaders discussing some of the latest issues facing public transit agencies today and will be curated by METRO Magazine – the oldest and most reliable brand in the industry. This new track of programming will be focused on increasing operational efficiencies, ensuring safety, and new technologies, just to name a few, and is ideal for transit systems looking to reshape and re-focus their operations. The new program is also an exciting and economical way to network with new and old peers alike.

North American Bikeshare & Scootershare Association Annual Conference

NYPTA Annual Conference & Expo
